OMFDFL!!

That, my friends, stands for "Oh my five dollar foot long!"And the reason why I'm saying that is because I haven't posted in forever! OMFDFL!!!! Well, again, there is lots to tell but let's just shorten things up a bit. School is good, tons of awesome friends and loads of homework. . . I joined Cross Country club at my school and one 1st place for my first meet! I sprained my ankle while running that day and now I am recovering! Me, Ella, Mom and Dad are officially permanent residents. . . we got our Green Cards finally! Life is good so far, so OHD!!! That stands for "Oh Happy Day!"

Oh Happy Day!

This winter has been a strange one for Michigan and the Midwest. We've had a few really big blizzards getting as much as 10+ inches of snow. We recently had a big blizzard where it was thundering and lightning during it! We had a lot of fun playing out in the snow and when it all melted and it was suddenly warm and spring - like, we brought out our bikes and were outside for the most of our mid - winter break. And it snowed. Again. A lot. So now. . . with our 8-10 inches of snow on the ground, and the roads are bad. I don't have any school today! Hurray!!! Just me. Well, in my family. Lil, Ella and Vivien still have school! I think this is like the 5th snow day for us. . . I'm definitely going to this middle school next year! Well, I should go! Be sure to comment and check out the rest of our amazing blog! Toodles!

Snow Days and Snowy Days!

Ok, today I decided it was time to write a post since I haven't since like December! And now it's Febuary! There is a lot I need to catch up on. Let's start on our birthdays! Lil's was on January 4th and mine was on the 7th! We had a lot of fun with our birthdays and a big present that we got was Lil's iTouch that she bought with all her birthday money and I got a cell phone!!!! I was really excited about that! And if we haven't yet exchanged numbers we need to! (You know who you are!) Our birthday parties were a success! While Lillian had a "movie" themed party and also went to the theatres to see Secratariet, I had a backwards party where everything was backwards! We had all the pictures upside - down, the table was flippped upside - down and all papers and lights and everything imagineable was upside - down, backwards or inside - out! We had signs saying "Goodbye" when they walked in and "Hello" when they left. Our 'activities' were all done backwards meaning we did presents, then games, then cake, then dinner and THEN we played Just Dance 2 and talked. The game that we played was sort of hard! One person stood up in front of the all the other people. They were assigned an animal that only the 'crowd' knew about and they had to guess. The catch was that no=yes and yes=no. So in your head it was hard to keep track of it all! It was a lot of fun though! All in all it was a great birthday and party for both of us. We're getting a LOT of snow here in Michigan right now! I have already had 4 snow days! Recently we had 2 days off of school this week because of that 'blizzard' that was supossed to be covering over 1/3 of the U.S. It stretched from here to Texas! And one day Texas was colder than Alaska! Crazy! Me and my family had a BUNCH of fun hanging around and making our annual, awesome toboggon hill slide!! It's this big hill that's really steep that you go down on a sled and then go through a cave and once you're through the cave you hit a big bump that slows you down and you finally go on your side. It's awesome! I need to start posting more pictures, ever since I got a camera I've been taking a bunch of pics. It's so much fun to go down on your stomache too! The other snow days I also had 2 days off because of how much snow there was! My new school is awesome! Oh, speaking of school, it's going great! I've made a lot of friends since the beinning of the school year and I'm adjusting to everyone including the teachers. I've started to do ballroom dancing as an after school activity and in a few weeks I'll be joining cross country. Anyway, I got to go! Since it's Saturday I have to clean my room. . . Bye!

P.S. I need your help for helping me decide who to cheer for at the Superbowl tomorrow. I was going for the Steelers but my whole family is cheering for the Packers and I don't know which one to cheer for now! I'm stuck so when you comment give me your advice! And quick the Superbowl is in less than 26 hours!! (I think. . .)

Bob Jr. A Christmas Story

Sorry that I didn't put this on earlier, Christmas just sort of sweeps you away with so many things to do! We actually filmed this on Christmas, but didn't put it on til last night. . . well, hope you like it! And Happy New Year!

P.S. I would recommend watching the video in the smaller version and not have it blown up because when it's big it is SO hard so see faces and expressions and stuff, so, if you can, I bet it will be loads funnier because you get to see Bob Jr, I mean Santa Claus' funny expressions. Merry Christmas to all and to all a good day!

Snow Day(s)!

Yesterday, Monday, December 13, we had no school because it was freezing and we had a big blizzard here! Mom, Dad, Ella and I had to go to this immigration thing where they took our pictures and fingerprints. Then we tried to get tickets for a football game because they were giving them out for free but they ran out. So we hung out with the Dells. We played outside in the snow a lot. And then again today, we have no school because it is too cold!! YAY!!! No school! We had an extended weekend, and maybe, just maybe, there won't be any school tomorrow either! I usually don't say this a lot, but I love snow!!!

Gold. . . AGAIN!

This past weekend, in Ann Arbor, I competed in Synchronized Skating again! Madison, Mom, Dad, Ella and Viv all came to support me! We did really great and we won gold. . . AGAIN! The season is starting off awesome so far, 2 golds for our division! Our other group (that is in Open Juv. or Juvenile, I'm in Beginner 2), placed 2nd which is so cool because their division had more skaters and plus there are harder moves! I am really happy that we did so well at this competition again. Here are some pictures of the routine:

HELP!!!!!

Madison and I really need help with ideas for Bob Jr! So if you have any ideas. . . It will be greatly appreciated :)!!!!!!!!

a BIG surprise

Sorry that we haven't been on much recently, there's just SO much stuff going on, and even more to tell so let's see if we can catch up. Here we go:

On November 24, the day before Thanksgiving break me, Lil, Ella and Vivien went to one of our friends house for a few hours. When we got home we had a GINORMOUS surprise waiting for us. . . the GORNICHECS!! So, Uncle Isaac and Auntie Megan, Ashley (11), Hailee (10), Reese (7), Evan (5) and cute baby Blake (1 and a bit) were there. Over the time that they were there we had seen Tangled, (awesome and cute movie by the way!) went Ice skating and then me, Ashley, Lil and Hailee made a new Bob Jr, made parodies on The Climb by Miley Cyrus*, and Bad Romance by Lady Gaga* and posted them on YouTube! We stayed up late every night (3-4 a.m. the longest and 12-1 a.m. the shortest) We had TONS of fun doing what girls do like makeovers watching movies walking to the bakery alone (me and Ashley did that) talking about stuff. . . Thanksgiving dinner was definitely one of the bests. We had the best turkey (soo moist!), orange rolls which were amazing, stuffing, corn combo, this amazing cranberry sauce (I accidentally put in a little too much cinnamon but I think that was just what it needed), mashed potatoes and amazing gravy, pumpkin pie and ice cream, and we also got to frost (and eat) sugar cookies! It was sooooooooo good! The best part was that we got to do it with our cousins from Nevada that we almost never get to see!!! How was your Thanksgiving? Another thing we got to do was go to Sacrament Meeting at this one church that my Uncle Isaac served his mission by. It is HUGE! And beautiful too, there's this big dome at the top of it and amazing paintings and designs on the walls. This church was really cool.

School's the same. Homework, drama, more homework and then more drama. On Friday, apparently too many people were going home sick or had called in sick. They were thinking the Nora Virus (which is sort of like the flu, usually milder.) Which has been going around quite a bit lately. So, they let us out early, just at 1:30, but still! Early is early! YAY! The valley after this mountain is that we will probably have school Monday, which is tomorrow. Darn.

Well, now that Thanksgiving is over, it's CHRISTMAS TIME!!! When you comment, let us know some things that you want for Christmas, what you want to do for Christmas or what your favorite part about Christmas is. (Or all three!) Adios!

P.S. Did I mention that the Gornichecs are our cousins? (And Aunt and Uncle.)
